Who we are
Skin and Beauty Box is a skin clinic and beauty salon operating three locations in Bristol: Clifton Down (BS8 2NP), Westbury on Trym (BS9 3DU) and Westbury Park (BS6 7SN). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
What we collect
Booking and client details: your name, contact details, appointment history, and any health information you share during consultations or patch tests so we can treat you safely.
Enquiries and lead forms: if you contact us, or submit a form on our website or on social media (for example a Facebook or Instagram lead form), we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address and phone number.
Website usage: with your consent, we use analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and advertising tools (Meta Pixel) to understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising. You can decline these when you first visit, and no analytics or advertising cookies are set unless you accept.
How we use your information
To provide treatments and manage your appointments, including reminders and follow-ups.
To respond to enquiries and, where you have expressed interest in a treatment or offer, to contact you about it.
To send occasional marketing about our treatments and offers where you have agreed to receive it. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
To understand and improve how our website and advertising perform.
Legal bases
We rely on contract (providing your treatments), consent (marketing, cookies, health information you volunteer), and legitimate interests (running and improving our business) as our legal bases under UK GDPR.
Who we share it with
Our booking system provider (Zenoti), which processes appointment and client records on our behalf.
Analytics and advertising providers (Google, Microsoft, Meta) in accordance with your cookie choices.
We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Client and treatment records are kept for as long as you remain a client and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and insurance obligations.
Enquiry and lead details that do not become bookings are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
