What it is
HD Brows is a structured seven-step treatment rather than a wax and tint. It starts with a proper consultation about face shape, skin tone and what you actually want, then moves through custom-blended tinting, brow mapping and hair removal using whichever combination of waxing, threading, tweezing and trimming the shape needs.
It finishes with the brows filled using the HD Brows makeup collection, along with a quick lesson so you can recreate it at home. That last part is the bit people underestimate.
Who it suits
It is particularly good for over-plucked brows, because brow mapping works out where hair should be encouraged back rather than just tidying what is left.
If your brows are naturally unruly or grow downwards, brow lamination may be a better answer, since that changes the direction of growth rather than the shape.
Patch test
Patch test and suitability: Pop into any salon at least 24 hours before treatment for your patch test. No appointment is needed and it takes a couple of minutes. Tell your therapist about any previous reaction to tint or products used around the eyes. If the skin around your eyes is irritated or broken on the day, contact the salon before attending so the therapist can confirm whether to proceed.
Your treatment is carried out by an NVQ Level 3 qualified beauty therapist.
