What they are
A short appointment in which a vitamin preparation is injected by our medical staff. A topical numbing spray is used first, and the injection itself takes seconds.
These are wellness treatments, not medical treatment for a diagnosed deficiency. If you think you are deficient in something, the right first step is a blood test through your GP rather than a shot. The NHS publishes guidance on B12 deficiency and vitamin D, and your GP can arrange the blood test that settles it.
Where to get a vitamin B12 injection in Bristol
If you’re searching for vitamin injections near you in Bristol, Skin & Beauty Box has three salons to choose from: Clifton Down, Westbury on Trym and Westbury Park. We’ve been established in Bristol since 2007. Book online and choose your salon to see the price and next available slot.
There are other routes too, and it’s worth knowing the difference. Pharmacies in Bristol offer single B12 shots, usually cheaper than ours, with no range beyond the one vitamin. If you have a diagnosed deficiency, your GP can treat it on the NHS at no cost, and that’s the right route if a blood test confirms you’re actually low. Skin & Beauty Box is the wellness option. We offer five vitamins in one place, including a high-strength B12, and our medical staff give every injection. If you’d rather address fine lines and hydration than top up a vitamin, take a look at our injectable skin boosters instead.
What we offer, vitamin by vitamin
Vitamin B complex
Vitamin B complex covers the B group together, and is the one people book for general energy and for skin, hair and nails. It’s the default choice if you’re not sure which vitamin you want.
High-strength B12
High-strength B12 is a more concentrated single vitamin than a standard pharmacy shot. The clinician will advise how often you can have B12.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is available as a single shot alongside B complex, B12 and biotin. It’s a straightforward top-up rather than a treatment for a specific condition, and works well combined with any of the others.
Biotin
Biotin is the one people book specifically for skin, hair and nails, as a single shot separate from B complex.
Vitamin D
A vitamin D injection is given roughly every six months, or every three to four months if a deficiency has been identified.
Tell the clinician about all vitamin D supplements and medicines you take. Do not stop or change them unless the clinician responsible for your care advises you to.
The clinician will advise when to take vitamin D supplements or multivitamins containing vitamin D after treatment.
What they cost
Prices range from £40 to £50, depending on the vitamin and the salon. That covers the appointment with our medical staff and the numbing spray. The clinician will advise how often you can have B12.

Who gives the injections
Every vitamin injection at Skin & Beauty Box is given by our qualified clinical team.
Appointments are short, and the same team administers every vitamin on the menu, from B complex through to high-strength B12 and vitamin D. The clinician will advise how often you can have B12.
If you’re looking to unwind as well as top up, our massage treatments are worth a look too.
