What it is
CACI is a microcurrent facial that uses tiny electrical impulses to lift and re-educate the muscles underneath the skin, rather than working on the surface. A single session gives a visible lift that lasts a few days. A course of ten to fifteen sessions, then maintenance every four to six weeks, gives lasting change.
It’s been the go-to non-surgical lift for decades because it can work on muscle tone: your therapist works over the face with two probes, gently manipulating the muscle rather than just treating the surface of the skin.
What it helps with
Most people come to us for one of these:
- Loss of muscle tone along the jaw and cheeks
- A heavier, less defined jawline
- Fine lines and crepey texture around the eyes
- Skin that has started to look tired rather than lined
One session or a course
A single treatment gives you that visible lift, which is why people book one before an event. Lasting change needs the full course, because you’re training muscle rather than resurfacing skin. Your therapist maps out a realistic schedule at your first appointment, and a free 30-minute consultation is available if you want to talk it through first.
What it feels like
You get a very mild tingle during the treatment, and many people find it pleasant enough to fall asleep or relax deeply for the duration. There are no needles and nothing invasive about the experience, which makes CACI one of the most accessible professional skin treatments.
Your therapist works with two light probes that move smoothly and consistently across your face, so even if you are usually cautious about professional treatments, this one is genuinely low-impact and comfortable.
Afterwards
There is no recovery time or downtime whatsoever. You can apply makeup immediately and return to your normal day without any restrictions.
Many people book CACI right before an important event, a wedding, or a demanding week at work, because they get a visible lift without any tell-tale signs of having had treatment. Your skin returns to normal immediately after the session, so it fits into a lunch break as easily as a free evening.
CACI versus microneedling and deeper lifting
CACI works on muscle tone using microcurrent, which means you get immediate definition and results build over a course. For ongoing benefit you maintain with regular treatments every four to six weeks.
Microneedling takes a different approach: it triggers collagen induction to rebuild the deeper layers of your skin. It’s a better choice if your main concern is acne scarring, enlarged pores or rough texture. Results build over several weeks and last considerably longer between sessions.
For significant skin laxity or sagging, RF Microneedling or HIFU are the specialist options. They reach much deeper layers and deliver results lasting a year or more. Talk to your therapist about which treatment matches your particular concern.
