What it is

Guinot is a French skincare institute brand built around thermal technology and Dynamic Ionisation. Rather than product sitting on the surface, the machine drives concentrated hyaluronic acid and vitamins into the layers that actually need them, while the warmth of the applicator lifts cellular energy.

The menu spans eight treatments because different skins need different things. That breadth is deliberate. Whether you have congestion, dryness, fine lines or loss of firmness, there’s a Guinot treatment aimed at it.

Who it suits

Guinot works particularly well for mature skin. Hydradermie Jeunesse and the Hydradermie Lift treatments target fine lines, loss of firmness and radiance loss specifically. The Summum range goes deeper for more pronounced ageing concerns.

For younger skin, Hydraclean and Équilibre Pureté handle congestion and oiliness. Eye Lift is a focused option if the concern is the eye area alone.

Every treatment includes a complimentary Guinot for Life consultation, so you are not guessing which one to book. Your therapist will look at your skin properly and tell you which treatment is actually worth your money, which is not always the most expensive one.

Choosing between them

The Hydradermie treatments are the institute classics and the right starting point for most people. Hydradermie Jeunesse targets the signs of ageing specifically, while Hydradermie Lift 1000 focuses on firmness and facial contour.

The Summum treatments are the deeper anti-ageing options: Lift Summum concentrates on firmness, Hydra Summum on hydration.

Hydraclean and Équilibre Pureté are the ones to book for congestion and oiliness rather than ageing, and Eye Lift is a focused treatment for the eye area alone.

How the session runs

Your therapist cleanses your skin, then applies the chosen treatment using the thermal applicator. The applicator heats gently as it works across your face and neck depending on which treatment you have booked. Sessions run from around 45 minutes for the Express treatments to 90 minutes for the Deluxe options.

The treatment itself is comfortable and non-invasive. You can relax completely throughout. There is no stinging or peeling during the appointment, just the sensation of the applicator working across your skin.

Afterwards

No downtime. You can go straight back to your day with makeup on immediately. Skin looks noticeably brighter and feels considerably softer straight after your appointment.

Because the treatment clears the way for your own serums and moisturisers, whatever you use at home works noticeably harder for the following week.

Sessions and results

A single treatment delivers immediate brightening and softness. For lasting change in fine lines, firmness or tone, most people book monthly or fortnightly sessions. Your therapist will recommend a rhythm specific to your skin at your first appointment.

Prices

Common questions

Is Guinot good for mature skin?

Very much so. Hydradermie Jeunesse and the Hydradermie Lift treatments target age-related concerns specifically: fine lines, loss of firmness and radiance. The Summum range goes deeper for more pronounced ageing. Your therapist will recommend which fits your skin at the complimentary consultation.

What is the best facial for older skin?

That depends on your specific concern. Hydradermie Lift 1000 is the usual starting point for firmness and facial contour loss. Hydradermie Jeunesse works well for fine lines and radiance. The Summum range treats deeper if the concern is more pronounced. Book any Guinot treatment and use the included consultation to dial in the best one for you.

Is there any downtime?

None. These are non-invasive treatments and you can go straight back to your day with makeup on.
