What it is

Collagen Lift uses radiofrequency energy to warm the deeper layers of the skin, which prompts your body to produce more collagen and restores some of the elasticity that has been lost.

There are no needles, no numbing and very little discomfort. Most people describe it as feeling like a warm hot stone facial, which makes it one of the easier treatments to fit into a normal week.

Where it works

The face treatment combines radiofrequency tightening with a gentle AHA peel and growth factors, so you get brightness alongside the firming. The neck can be added on.

There are also focused treatments for the eye area and jawline, and body treatments for the abdomen, upper arms and bottom.

One honest limitation: this is a firming treatment. If your main concern is pore size or congestion, HydraFacial is the better use of your money.

Who it suits

It works across all skin types and tones, and it is particularly worth considering in your twenties, thirties and forties, when you are maintaining collagen rather than trying to reverse significant sagging.

The results are slow and progressive rather than sudden, which most people count as an advantage. Nothing about it announces itself.

How many sessions

A course of six is recommended for the best result. Your body carries on remodelling collagen throughout, and the full effect is usually visible around six weeks after the final session.

With good skincare and a maintenance session every couple of months, the result holds well. A course of six can be used any time within 12 months, so you are not locked into a rigid schedule.

Common questions

Does it hurt?

No. There are no needles and no numbing required. It feels warm and relaxing, closer to a hot stone facial than a clinical treatment.

Will it help with my pores?

Not really. Collagen Lift is for firming. The facial version includes a mini AHA peel which brightens, but if pores and congestion are your main concern, HydraFacial is the treatment to book.
