What it is
HIFU in Bristol and RF microneedling are two non-surgical treatments delivered on the Focus Dual platform. RF microneedling uses fine needles to deliver radiofrequency energy into the dermis, combining collagen induction with deep heating. HIFU uses focused ultrasound to reach the SMAS layer, the tissue layer a surgeon tightens during a facelift.
Neither is a facelift, and we will not pretend otherwise. Both treatments can tighten and lift skin with mild to moderate laxity. The right choice depends on whether your main concern is skin texture, scarring, deeper looseness, or a mixture of these.

RF, HIFU, or both?
Choose RF microneedling when texture or scarring sits alongside laxity. The needles reach the dermis, where radiofrequency energy combines collagen induction with heat. It can be used for facial texture, acne scarring, stretch marks and areas that need firmer-looking skin.
Choose HIFU when the main concern is lift and the looseness sits deeper. Focused ultrasound reaches the SMAS layer, so it is aimed more directly at deeper laxity than surface texture.
Having HIFU and RF microneedling together
The combined treatment makes sense when you want to address both deeper lift and the skin's texture. HIFU works at the deeper layer while RF microneedling works in the dermis. It is the option to discuss when laxity, fine lines or scarring overlap rather than appearing as one isolated concern.

Prices by area
Prices depend on the area and whether RF microneedling, HIFU, or both are appropriate. The consultation comes first so your therapist can assess where the laxity sits and explain the plan before you book treatment.
The entry point is an eyebrow lift at £150 with RF microneedling or £200 with HIFU. A full face costs £395 with RF microneedling or £600 with HIFU. Face and neck costs £500 with RF microneedling or £750 with HIFU. The full price list covers smaller areas, scarring, stretch marks and the abdomen as well.
Introductory HIFU pricing may apply, so ask when you book. The consultation is also the right time to compare a single area with a combined plan rather than choosing from a headline price alone.
When will I see results?
Some tightening can show shortly after treatment, but the meaningful change builds as new collagen forms. Most people see improvement develop over 8 to 12 weeks. Results can hold for 12 months or longer, depending on your skin and lifestyle.
This is not an instant-result treatment. A slower result is part of the trade-off for a non-surgical approach, and anyone promising an immediate facelift effect is overselling it.
